Fake Low Battery Screen

What it shows

A dark screen with a battery drawn in the middle, almost empty, its last thin sliver in red, and three short lines under it: "1%", "Battery low" and "Connect a charger". That is all it says. It does not copy any phone maker's own warning, and it asks nobody to do anything except, perhaps, look for a charger.

Press Go Fullscreen to fill the screen with it. Start does the same job on the page, holding the screen awake while it is shown.

The battery is drawn in code as a plain outline, not taken from any phone's own design, so it suits a phone, a tablet or a computer alike. On a phone that cannot go full screen, the picture fills the browser window instead, so the browser's own bar may still show at the edge.

It does not know your battery

This page does not know your battery level. The screen is a picture, and the percentage on it is always 1%. The page never asks your browser about the battery, so the number does not count down, the red sliver does not blink, and plugging in a charger changes nothing on it. It is still at 1% for as long as it is shown.

Leaving it

Press Esc, click, or tap anywhere, and it closes, exactly as every full-screen tool on this site does. On a phone that cannot go full screen, the picture covers the browser window instead and an Exit button stays in the corner. Nothing here tries to stop anyone leaving, and the Back button works as usual. Keep screen awake starts switched on while it is shown, and the status line says whether your browser agreed.

Nothing is installed, changed, stored or sent. The device keeps running normally underneath the picture.
