Turn the room lights off, start the timer, and look away from the screen until it reaches zero.Judging bleed before your eyes have adapted is the single most common cause of a needless monitor return. Check each corner and each edge in turn, straight on — bleed that only appears from an angle is normal IPS glow, not a fault.
