Screen Mirror
Your screen as a mirror, with an optional warm frame around it. The picture stays in your browser, and nothing is recorded.
What happens when you press Start
The page asks your browser for the camera, and your browser asks you. Until you answer, nothing starts. If you allow it, your picture appears here, mirrored, the way every video-call preview shows it: move left and the reflection moves left. It is drawn in your own browser window and goes nowhere else — there is no recording, no snapshot, no upload and no server to send anything to.
Press Start camera and answer your browser's prompt, which usually appears near the address bar.
Go full screen if you want the mirror as large as the panel allows.
Turn the fill on if the room is dim: a frame of warm light around the picture lights your face while you look at it.
Press Stop when you are done. The camera light on your device should go out.
Why the fill starts off
A mirror is for looking at yourself, so the picture comes first and the light is optional. A bright frame also changes what you see: it lifts the shadows on your face, which is useful when you are checking how you will look on a call, and unhelpful when you are checking whether you have something in your teeth. Turning it on is one press, and it stays off until you do.
The frame fills part of the screen with light-colored pixels. It cannot make your display brighter than the panel's own brightness control allows, and the level steps dim the picture rather than the backlight.
If your browser refuses
A refusal is final until you change it: no web page can grant itself access. Permission is managed in your browser, usually from the icon at the left of the address bar, and the page works again once you allow it and reload. The page never asks twice on its own, and never asks at all until you press the button.

Nothing is recorded, stored or uploaded. The picture exists only in your browser while the camera is running, and every track is stopped when you press Stop, hide the tab or leave the page.
